Welcome to our case stories where you will be able to see and read the before and after stories and photos about just some of the 1000's of guinea pigs that ACS has received over the years. Our case stories below range from severe cases of neglect or injury while others are simply inspirational.

In this day and age small pets sadly can still be valued so very little and as disposable by many that they can be left to live in appalling conditions or worse....they end up dead before their calls can be heard. Every life deserves to be valued no matter what the species because every life is unique and individual in their own special way. Every living creature on this planet deserves to live a life of respect and dignity free from inhumane pain.

Guinea pigs are an animal that rely completely on their human owner for every single aspect of their care. They are an animal that can't run away if unhappy and they can't go to find food elsewhere if hungry. They can't escape from the enclosure they are placed in and they can't scream for help.
