to contact your local ACS shelter for assistance in the case of a medical
emergency please ring an ACS recommended vet for further assistance.

The ACS email account is moderated by a small team of experienced guinea
pig experts who have long-term knowledge of guinea pig medical and general
care. We are not qualified veterinarians although can offer valuable
advice on medical conditions, can recommend vets in your local area and
can guide you in the right direction. All you need to do is send an email
to the team and your question will be answered by someone from the team.
Adoptions and Surrenders If you are keen to adopt a guinea pig please see our 'adopt' section on the website where you will first need to fill in our online adoption enquiry form. This will be sent directly through to your nearest ACS Shelter. You will receive a response via email or phone as soon as possible after your form has been sent through. If you need to surrender your guinea pig please visit our 'adopt' section on the website to fill out our online aurrender form. Please email this form to your nearest ACS Shelter or email your nearest ACS Shelter if you would prefer to bring it with you in person when you visit the shelter to surrender your guinea pig. Interested in starting up an ACS Shelter or becoming an affiliate shelter? To become an affiliate requirements are less but you must agree to ACS objectives listed on this website in the 'about us' section.
