The ACS shelters all vary in size. ACS Brisbane shelter is managed by founder Jessica and is a large-scale shelter able to take in more than 130 guinea pig surrenders at any given time.
Free visits to ACS shelters are more than welcome. Several of the shelters supply and sell fresh quality feeds, hay and other guinea pig related products to the public. For further enquiries about our feeds or products please contact your nearest shelter.

The
Australian Cavy Sanctuary shelters all conform to high standards of
presentation and are all managed currently from private residences. ACS
shelters have a high standard of care and all guinea pigs on ACS shelter
premesis are assured 24hr a day attention, secure/sheltered large
enclosures, correct guinea pig diet, health checks and comfortable living
quarters. ACS is looking to expand in the future and will be starting an
appeal so that eventually we will be able to purchase land and expand not
only in size but so that we are able to cater for other small animals and
farm animals as well as guinea pigs.
